Mirza Abbas goes to Malaysia for health checkup

BNP standing committee member and prime ministerial adviser Mirza Abbas has gone to Malaysia for a routine health checkup. He departed for Malaysia on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight on Wednesday.

Mirza Abbas was accompanied by his wife, Mohila Dal president Afroza Abbas, according to BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan.

Mirza Abbas recently returned to the country after roughly five and a half months of treatment in Singapore and Malaysia for a serious physical illness. Since returning, he attended a parliamentary session for the first time, and the BNP standing committee member has since also taken part in some party programmes.
