Online applications for admission to class eleven in the 2026-27 academic year will again be taken in a second round. Applications open on September 27 and run until 8pm on September 28. Admissions in this round will run from October 5 to 7. The schedule from the publication of results to final admission has also been announced.
The inter-education board coordination committee gave the information in a notice on Monday. According to the notice, a decision has been taken to accept applications again in a second round for the online admission of students to class eleven in the 2026-2027 academic year.
Students, guardians and all others concerned have been asked to follow the schedule given above. The application procedure must follow the full guidance on the education boards’ designated admission website: https://xiclassadmission.gov.bd.
Students and guardians must look at the number of seats available at colleges and apply to a minimum of five and a maximum of 10 colleges. Those able to apply online in the second round for the 2026-2027 academic year are: students who did not apply earlier or who applied but were not selected by a college; and students who received a final selection but were unable for some reason to confirm it or to be admitted to the college within the set time.
Also eligible are students who received a final selection but could not be admitted to a college because they had specified the wrong quota.
The schedule for the second round of online applications, results, admission and the start of classes for 2026-2027 is as follows. Online applications in the second round run from September 27 until 8pm on September 28. Results for selected students will be published at 8pm on October 1.
Selected students will have until 8pm on October 3 from the publication of results to confirm their selection. If they do not confirm, both the selection and the application will be cancelled. The results of the second migration, according to order of preference, will then be published at 8pm on October 4. Admission for students selected in the second round will run from October 5 to 7.
The notice also said students who applied in the first round but were not selected by any college will not have to pay the 220 taka online application fee when applying in the second round. They must, however, log in to the admission website and complete their college selection or edit. Guardians and students were again asked to apply with an understanding of their eligibility when specifying a quota in the second round, and to pay the confirmation fee within the set time after the results are published.
