Police have recovered the body of a 45-year-old woman from the compound of Muktijoddha Clinic and Diagnostic Center in Manda, Naogaon.
The body was found near Prasadpur Bazar in the upazila headquarters on Tuesday morning, November 3.
Police identified the woman as Moyna Rani, the wife of Anil Chandra of Tilihari Mahapara in Niamatpur upazila.
Passersby saw her body in a seating area inside the boundary wall of the clinic, which operates in the Manda Muktijoddha Complex building near Hospital Mor.
A crowd gathered after the news spread, and police recovered the body and took it to the station.
Investigators have not determined when or why she went to the clinic compound or how she died. They are examining whether other factors were involved.
Manda Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abzal Hossain said no visible injuries were found on the body.
Police sent it to the district hospital morgue for an autopsy and were preparing to file a case, he said.
