Bangladesh will play a Test match in England in May 2027. The one-match series will be held at Lord’s. Ticket sales for the Test have begun a full eight months before the match starts.
The Bangladesh-England Lord’s Test will begin on May 28 next year — still roughly eight months away. But authorities have already begun selling tickets for the match.
Lord’s Cricket Ground confirmed the ticket sales on its official website, saying: “The general public ballot for international matches at Lord’s in 2027 is now open, giving supporters the chance to secure tickets for this summer’s matches at the Home of Cricket.”
Lord’s said the general admission ballot will close on Oct. 26. Successful first-round applicants will be contacted by email in early November. Those successful applicants will then have until Nov. 17 to purchase their tickets. General ticket sales will open on Dec. 10.
Bangladesh last played a Test against England in whites in 2016, at Mirpur. Bangladesh last played a Test on English soil in 2010, also at Lord’s. Tamim Iqbal scored a historic century in that match.
