The Brahmanbaria Sadar upazila unit of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir has held a felicitation ceremony for meritorious students in Brahmanbaria who scored GPA-5 in the 2026 SSC, Dakhil and equivalent examinations. The ceremony was organised on Tuesday (September 15) morning at A Malek Convention Hall in the district town.
Former Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir central president, engineer Sirajul Islam, attended as chief guest. The main speaker was the organisation’s central foundation secretary, Mohaimen. The event was chaired by Islami Chhatrashibir Brahmanbaria Sadar upazila unit president Sajib Mahmud.
Special guests included Jamaat-e-Islami central majlis-e-shura member and district ameer Maulana Mobarak Hossain, Dhaka Mahanagar Uttar Jamaat propaganda and media secretary Ataur Rahman Sarkar, district Jamaat assistant secretary Junaed Hasan, district Jamaat ICT secretary and former Chhatrashibir central literary secretary Rajiful Hasan Bappy, propaganda secretary Md Rukon Uddin, and district Chhatrashibir secretary Yasin Arafat. Leaders and activists of Chhatrashibir and Jamaat-e-Islami at various levels also attended the event.
Speakers at the event congratulated the GPA-5 achievers, saying this academic achievement must be put to use in their future path in life. They said students must build themselves not just on academic success but on ethics, sound education and humane values alongside their talent. They called on the students to put their talent and abilities to work for the welfare of the country and society.
