Dhallywood actress Pori Moni has joined a new web film. Directed by Giasuddin Selim, the web film is titled “Separation,” and its shooting has already begun.
Imtiaz Barsha plays opposite Pori Moni, while actor Niravh appears in a special role. Shooting for the web film is currently taking place in the capital’s 300 Feet area.
Pori Moni announced the news of her new project on Sunday, sharing a photo from the set on her Facebook page. Alongside the word “Bismillah,” she mentioned the title “Separation” and director Giasuddin Selim’s name.
Pori Moni has previously acted in Giasuddin Selim’s films “Swapnajaal” and “Gunin.” This marks her first web film with the filmmaker.
Details about Pori Moni’s character or the story of “Separation” have not yet been disclosed. The filmmaker and others involved have also stayed quiet about Imtiaz Barsha’s character.
Shooting for “Separation” is reportedly taking place in phases at various locations, including the capital’s 300 Feet area. Alongside Pori Moni, Imtiaz Barsha and Niravh, the cast also includes Sharlin Farzana.
The web film will be released on iScreen. However, no release date for “Separation” has been announced yet.
