A felicitation for high-achieving students who earned GPA-5 or scholarships, and a meeting with the heads of educational institutions, have been held in Damurhuda, Chuadanga.
The upazila administration organised the event on Thursday (September 24) at the Damurhuda upazila Shilpakala Academy auditorium. Chuadanga deputy commissioner Lutfun Nahar was chief guest. Damurhuda upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Lovely Yasmin presided, and upazila health and family planning officer Dr Md Moshiur Rahman was special guest.
The heads of all primary, secondary and higher secondary institutions in the upazila took part, along with students who had earned GPA-5 or scholarships.
Speakers praised the students’ talent and success and urged them to grow into good citizens and contribute to the welfare of the country and society.
