Barcelona are flying in La Liga this season. They beat Levante 4-2 to claim a fifth straight win of the campaign under coach Hansi Flick.
Young star Lamin Yamal played a major role in the win with a brace. Javi Esparta put Barca ahead in just the fourth minute, scoring from a Raphinha assist. Yamal then doubled the lead from another Raphinha pass.
After the break, the young forward scored his second goal from the penalty spot, taking his tally in this La Liga campaign to six. After taking a three-goal lead, however, Levante found a way back into the match. Ivan Romero pulled one back in the 79th minute, and a goal from Brugge made it 3-2 in the 88th minute. Though hopes of an equaliser flickered late on, Barca held firm.
Substitute Karim Adeyemi sealed the win with a goal in stoppage time. Barcelona left the pitch with a 4-2 win in the end. The result puts Flick’s side three points clear of second-placed Real Madrid.
