Police have recovered the body of a man from the area around the Chuadanga inter-district bus terminal. The deceased was identified as Shahabuddin, alias Ashadul, 30.
The body was recovered Saturday morning, August 29.
Shahabuddin, a resident of Chuadanga town’s Railpara area, was the son of the late Ohab Mondol.
Police went to the scene and recovered the body after receiving information from local residents. However, the cause of death could not be immediately confirmed.
Police have sent the body to the morgue at Chuadanga Sadar Hospital for autopsy to determine the actual cause of death. Chuadanga Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Md Maruf Rahman said further details about the cause of death would be known once the autopsy report is available.
