CHOUGACHHA — The Bangladesh Nationalist Party held a joint meeting in Chougachha, Jashore, on Saturday evening at the Division Center in the town.
Chougachha upazila BNP president MA Salam presided. Jashore district BNP president and lawyer Sayed Saberul Haque Sabu addressed the gathering as chief guest. The session was moderated by upazila BNP general secretary and Hakimpur Union Parishad chairman Masudul Hasan.
District BNP general secretary Deloyar Hossain Khokon spoke as special guest.
Other speakers included Jashore Chamber of Commerce and Industry president and former district BNP joint general secretary Mizanur Rahman Khan; Jhikargachha upazila BNP president and BNP central member Sabira Nazmul Munni; district BNP member and former Chougachha upazila BNP president Zahurul Islam; district BNP member, former Jashore municipal mayor and former district bar association president lawyer Ishaq Ali; upazila BNP senior vice president Younus Ali Dafadar; organizing secretary Mostafizur Rahman Mostak; municipal BNP president and former mayor Selim Reza Awlia; and general secretary Abdul Halim Chanchal.
Also present were upazila Jubo Dal convener MA Mannan and member secretary Ariful Islam Wasim; upazila Sechchasebak Dal convener Mehedi Hasan and member secretary Abu Bakar Siddique; upazila Krishak Dal president Azgar Ali and general secretary Shahinur Rahman; and upazila Chhatra Dal member secretary Iman Hasan Roki.
BNP leaders and activists from various upazila and union-level units attended.
