RUPSHA, Khulna — A health coordination meeting was held in Rupsha under BRAC’s climate-change health program.
The meeting, organized by BRAC, took place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at the upazila health complex.
Dr. Majedul Haque Kawsar, the upazila health and family planning officer, presided over the program. Md. Iftekharul Islam Shamim, assistant commissioner (land) of the upazila, spoke as chief guest. Special speakers included Md. Shafi Kamal, BRAC’s Khulna district manager; Dr. Himel, resident medical officer; G.M. Asaduzzaman, president of the upazila press club; and Sub-Inspector Laizu, second officer of Rupsha police station.
The program was moderated by BRAC officer Akash Mahmud Hriday. Also present were health officer Zakaria, nurse in-charge Nur Nahar, chief health assistant Tapati Sarkar, sub-assistant medical officer Hiramun Nahar and medical technologist (lab) Roni.
