DHAKA — The National Citizen Party (NCP) has formed 16 subcommittees under its Central Election Management Committee to streamline preparations for the upcoming 13th parliamentary election, the party said Friday.
Committee chief Nasiruddin Patwary and Secretary Dr. Tasnim Zara approved the new subcommittees, the party’s media cell member Sadia Farzana Dina said in a signed statement.
Sadia Farzana Dina will head the office subcommittee, with Md. Towhid Ahmed Ashik as secretary. Mahbub Alam Mahir will head the international missions subcommittee, with Alauddin Mohammad as secretary. Farhad Alam Bhuiyan will head the legal subcommittee, with Tarique Adnan Mun as secretary.
The administration subcommittee will be headed by advocate Abdullah Al Amin, with Arman Hussain as secretary. The Election Commission liaison subcommittee will be led by Zahirul Islam Musa, with Mollah Mohammad Faruk Ehsan as secretary.
Monira Sharmin will head the local observer organizations subcommittee, with Nahid Nawroz Shahu as secretary. Sultan Mohammad Zakaria will head the candidate training subcommittee, with Faridul Haque as secretary. Advocate Mokul Mustafiz will head the election legal assistance subcommittee, with advocate Mostafa Azgar Sharifi as secretary. SM Saif Mustafiz will head the finance and fundraising subcommittee, with Farhad Sohel as secretary.
Advocate Humayra Noor will head the polling agent training subcommittee, with Dr. Zahedul Islam as secretary. Mahbub Alam will head the media subcommittee, with Khan Mohammad Mursalin as secretary. Ehtesham Haque will head the campaign manager training subcommittee, with Saghufta Bushra Mishma as secretary.
Muhammad Miraj Mia will head the social media subcommittee, with Asif Mostafa Jamal as secretary. Tanjil Mahmud will head the branding subcommittee, with Tahsin Riyaz as secretary. Advocate Ali Nasher Khan will head the discipline subcommittee, with advocate Sakil Ahmad as secretary. Saifullah Haidar will head the reception subcommittee, with Md. Sohel Rana as secretary.
