The third session of the 13th National Parliament will begin on 27 August. Acting president Hafiz Uddin Ahmad has convened the session for 3pm that day.
The information was given in a notice signed by the secretary of the National Parliament Secretariat, Md Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, on Tuesday (11 August).
It said that, exercising the power conferred by Article 72(1) of the Constitution of Bangladesh, the acting president, Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, has convened the third session of the 13th National Parliament in the parliament chamber at 3pm on Thursday, 27 August.
The second session of the 13th National Parliament ended on 15 July.
