DINAJPUR, Bangladesh — Four people from the same family were killed and four others were injured when a minibus collided with an easy bike on the Dinajpur-Dashmile highway on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 22, police said.
The accident occurred near the Nashipur grain research center on the highway. The victims’ identities were not immediately confirmed.
Kotwali police Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Nuruzzaman said a passenger minibus traveling in the opposite direction crushed the easy bike in front of the Nashipur research institute on the Dinajpur-Dashmile highway around 3:30 p.m. All four passengers in the easy bike died at the scene.
The injured were taken to hospital. The bodies were recovered and taken to the police station.
