CHUADANGA — Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu, the BGIMA president and BNP candidate for the Chuadanga-2 seat, met with journalists in Chuadanga on Monday to discuss his plans ahead of the national election.

Responding to journalists’ questions, he said the people’s decision would establish the proper leadership in Chuadanga-2. If elected, he said, he would do everything possible to turn the seat into a model parliamentary constituency, free of extortion and corruption.

Those present included district BNP organizational secretary Khalid Mahmud Milton, Jibannagar upazila BNP vice president Abul Kalam Azad, Chuadanga Press Club president Rajib Hasan Kachi, general secretary Bipul Ashraf, Journalists Association president Sardar Al Amin and journalists from various print and electronic media in the district.
