The Narail district unit of Islami Chhatra Shibir has honoured students in Narail who secured GPA-5 in the SSC, dakhil and equivalent examinations.
A total of 404 students were honoured at around 11:30am on Friday (September 25) in the multipurpose hall of Narail Government Victoria College.
The event was chaired by district Chhatra Shibir president Taj Mohammad and moderated by district secretary Roman Sheikh. The chief guest was SM Farhad, general secretary of the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and central publicity secretary of Islami Chhatra Shibir. Dr Zayed Ahmad, Islami Chhatra Shibir’s school activities secretary, spoke as special guest.
Others who spoke included district Chhatra Shibir finance secretary Abul Kalam Azad, student welfare secretary Tanvir Sikder, publications secretary Nuruzzaman, HRD secretary Naimul Islam and Narail Government Victoria College unit president Wakibuzzaman Ovi, along with leaders at various levels.
