DHAKA — The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has directed heads of all educational institutions across Bangladesh regarding the 2026 National High School Programming Contest (NHSPC). The directorate ordered that publicity and registration activities to ensure regional-level participation be completed by midnight on Saturday, May 2.

The nationwide regional programming and quiz contest will be held May 16. Interested students can register online on the contest website within the designated time.

The information was conveyed in a letter sent to all educational institution heads on Thursday, April 30, by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education.

The letter stated that the contest is being organized for students at high school, madrasa, polytechnic institute and college levels under the initiative of the Information and Communication Technology Division and hosted by the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC).

Copies of the letter have been sent to the relevant institutions to make them aware of the matter, with directions for students to complete registration within the designated time.
