Actress Hina Khan may appear as a surprise special guest in season 2 of the popular reality show “Lock Upp,” according to strong rumors. That has revived talk of her old feud with contestant Shilpa Shinde.
Indian media outlet India Forums reported that Hina Khan and Uorfi Javed will join upcoming episodes as special guests, though the makers have not officially confirmed it.
The rift between Hina and Shilpa is not new; tensions began during their time on “Bigg Boss 11.” The dispute resurfaced recently when, on Bharti Singh’s podcast, Shilpa admitted that during a legal dispute with producer Sanjay Kohli she had made a false sexual-harassment complaint against him.
After Shilpa’s admission, Hina reacted sharply in an Instagram story: “Trying to destroy someone’s image by using your gender identity to win a dispute is deeply shameful. It is natural that people are protesting and seeking justice against it. I am truly stunned.”
Hina also claimed the real victim was Sanjay Kohli, and questioned why the producer worked with Shilpa again after the complaint. “In the end, we are the ones who become the butt of the joke,” she said.
Shilpa Shinde then targeted Hina indirectly, referring to Hina’s cancer treatment and her father’s death: “I don’t know when people will stop using my name for publicity. Don’t try to board a moving train — you’ll get hurt. You have your own illness for publicity, and the death of a family member too. So why do you need Shilpa Shinde? You’ve already had plenty of publicity.”
If Hina does appear on “Lock Upp 2,” viewers believe the long-running feud could take a new turn. No official announcement about a face-off has yet been made. Source: NDTV
