Four more people died with measles symptoms nationwide in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 967.
The information was disclosed Sunday in the Directorate General of Health Services’ regular report on the measles situation.
According to the health directorate, of these deaths, 99 were confirmed measles cases, while 868 died with measles symptoms.
Meanwhile, 1,516 new cases with measles symptoms were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of suspected infections to 157,194.
