US President Donald Trump has said he expects to meet Prime Minister Tareque Rahman soon. In a letter to the prime minister, Trump said that despite various challenges, he believes Bangladesh and its people have a bright future under Tareque Rahman’s leadership.
The US president conveyed warm wishes and affection for the people of Bangladesh in the letter.
Trump also thanked Prime Minister Tareque Rahman for the decision to purchase Boeing aircraft. He said Boeing will not let Bangladesh down, adding that he would not forget the prime minister’s attention to the matter.
