Education, Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon said the prime minister will award students who achieved a GPA-5 in this year’s SSC examinations. Officials have discussed gifting tablets to the roughly 116,000 students to encourage them in their studies.
The minister made the remarks as chief guest at a discussion marking University Day at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) on Tuesday.
Milon said the gifts were meant to make students more focused on their studies.
