A 10-day soft-skills training programme for marginalised professionals has been launched in Jashore’s Chougachha upazila. The programme was inaugurated on Tuesday at 11am in the training hall room of the upazila agriculture office.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Farzana Islam chaired the launch. Chief guest, local member of parliament Dr Mosleh Uddin Farid, inaugurated the training.
The inaugural programme, conducted by Upazila Social Service Officer Mejbah Uddin, was addressed by Upazila Agriculture Officer Moshabbir Hussain, upazila BNP president M A Salam, upazila Jamaat ameer Maulana Golam Morshed, municipal BNP general secretary Abdul Hamid Chanchal, and upazila BNP organising secretary Mostafizur Rahman Mostak, among others.
Trainer Asadujjaman conducted the training sessions. Thirty trainees from various trades among the upazila’s marginalised professionals took part in the programme.
