Bashar is a successful businessman with no shortage of cars, houses or money in Dhaka — but all of it came from his father-in-law, so as a live-in son-in-law he lives in fear of his wife. His wife, Zuleikha, keeps him under strict watch, and even a glance at another woman sparks a furious row at home. Into this suddenly arrive Kuddus, his mother Jamela and his sister Rabeya from the village. Kuddus claims to be Bashar’s son and his mother claims to be Bashar’s wife, saying plainly they have come to Dhaka for a share of Bashar’s property — and then chaos breaks out in the household.
