The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board is preparing hard to publish the SSC and equivalent results targeting 20 July, but no specific, final date has yet been announced. Professor Syed Aktaruzzaman, chairman of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and of the Dhaka board, told the media that work was under way to publish the results in line with the government’s directives and set timeframe, and that the main results-preparation activities were currently being implemented.
Coordination committee officials confirmed that results preparation was at its final stage and that they were working day and night to complete all processes by 20 July as directed by the education ministry. Results of SSC and equivalent exams are usually published within 60 days of the written exams ending. By that rule, after this year’s exams began on 21 April, the general boards’ written exams ended on 20 May, while the madrasa (Dakhil) and technical (SSC vocational) boards’ written exams ended on 24 May. This year a total of 18,57,344 students filled in forms to sit the SSC and equivalent exams — 14,18,398 for SSC under the nine general education boards, 3,04,286 for Dakhil under the madrasa board, and 1,34,660 under the technical board.
