Six more people died with measles symptoms nationwide in the past 24 hours. The information was disclosed Sunday in the Directorate General of Health Services’ regular report on measles.
The health directorate also reported 1,256 new measles cases detected during this period.
It states that from March 15 through Monday, a total of 973 people have died nationwide from measles and its symptoms.
Of these, 99 died from confirmed measles and 874 from measles symptoms.
