The government has given Professor Dr. Nazmul Hossain a fresh one-year contract appointment as director general (DG) of the Directorate General of Health Education (DGHE).
The information was disclosed in a Ministry of Public Administration notification issued Monday, August 17.
The notification said that, under Section 49 of the Government Service Act, 2018, Dr. Nazmul Hossain has been reappointed on a contract basis as director general of the Directorate General of Health Education for a one-year term, effective August 24, 2026.
The notification said the appointment is subject to the conditions that his post-retirement leave and related benefits are suspended, and that he give up any other profession, business, or working relationship with any government, semi-government or private institution or organization.
The notification said other terms of the appointment would be determined through a contract agreement.
