Government primary schools have been instructed to submit updated data on vacant teacher posts by August 24 to help complete the ongoing teacher recruitment process. The information must be sent to the directorate’s designated email address. The instructions were disclosed in a letter issued Monday by the Directorate of Primary Education, sent to all district primary education officers and other relevant officials.

Both soft and hard copies of the data must be submitted. The letter states that teacher recruitment at government primary schools is an ongoing process, and that updated data on vacant teacher posts as of August 24 is needed to complete the recruitment process. Officials were asked to send updated district-level vacancy data to ad.recruitdpe@yahoo.com by noon on August 25. The required information includes: upazila name, number of approved assistant teacher posts, number of filled posts, number of vacant posts (including posts currently held on an acting basis), number of acting appointments, number of posts eligible for recruitment, and remarks on any positions reserved due to pending litigation.
