Five pipe guns and 4.7 kilograms of cannabis have been seized from an abandoned building in Rupganj, Narayanganj. Acting on tip-off intelligence, an operations team from RAB-11 raided the Tarabo municipal area of the upazila around 3 a.m. Thursday night and recovered the items.
RAB-11 said several people fled the scene after sensing the presence of law enforcement during the raid. A subsequent search of the abandoned building recovered five pipe guns, three spent bullet casings and 4.7 kilograms of cannabis.
RAB said the seized weapons, bullet casings and cannabis have been handed over to Rupganj police station for further legal action.
