Six people have died of dengue in the country in the past 24 hours. Over the same period 1,655 people with dengue were admitted to hospitals around the country. That takes the number of deaths this year to 190.
The figures came in a dengue bulletin sent on Monday (September 21) by the health emergency operations centre and control room of the directorate general of health services.
