President Donald Trump earned more than one billion dollars from cryptocurrency-related businesses in his first year in office, according to his mandatory annual financial disclosure released on Tuesday.

The 927-page disclosure showed $635 million in royalties from the Trump meme coin, which launched days before he took office, though the coin’s value has declined significantly since its market debut.

He earned an additional $500 million from World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency venture founded by his sons and the children of his special envoy Steve Witkoff.

The disclosure also showed earnings of hundreds of thousands of dollars from real estate businesses and Trump-branded products. The White House denied that the president has profited financially from his position.

In 2024, Trump reported more than $600 million in income. His latest declared earnings are substantially higher.

The White House said Trump has placed his businesses under a trust managed by his sons, so there is no conflict of interest. Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly said the president is working to make the United States the world’s “crypto capital” and that neither the president nor his family has ever been involved in a conflict of interest.

Trump himself has said he is not subject to federal conflict-of-interest laws, despite having called Bitcoin a “scam” and a risky asset just a few years ago.

According to the disclosure, his cryptocurrency income now exceeds his real estate income — the sector that originally made him famous as a businessman. The Mar-a-Lago club earned approximately $77 million, and Trump National Doral Miami golf club earned $122 million. His golf clubs in Bedminster (New Jersey), Jupiter (Florida), and Turnberry (Scotland) each earned more than $30 million.

He also received $4.7 million in royalties from Trump-branded watches, with additional income from Bible, shoe, perfume, and guitar sales.

First Lady Melania Trump reported $17 million from a documentary licensing deal and $6 million from NFT sales.
