Popular actor Khairul Basar recently acknowledged a past relationship in a podcast appearance, saying he had once dated actress Sadia Ayman, though the relationship ended a few years ago. Since then, the two stars have been at the center of public discussion.

Sadia Ayman has now spoken about the rumors, her personal life, and her future plans. She said: “Rumors are just rumors — there’s nothing to say about them. Some things are better left unsaid. When one person tells their side of the story and I tell mine, the narrative changes entirely — something the other person may not even consider. I don’t want this to turn into mudslinging. I don’t want a situation where one person says something in an interview and I respond with something else. I don’t want to get into that kind of ugliness. I believe the truth never stays hidden — it comes out eventually.”

Sadia Ayman added: “I’ve said before, I’m not in a rush for romance. I believe in things settling into place naturally — the right time, the right opportunity. God has already written everything in our fate. However much we want something, it doesn’t happen unless it’s meant to. God has planned everything, and even our own plans can change in an instant. I think whatever is meant to happen will happen at the right time.”

Noting that she is still early in her career, the actress said she is staying away from unnecessary controversy and focusing instead on her work, family, and mental health.

She said: “I don’t think now is the time. I’m still quite junior, so I keep working. When I’m more established, more senior, whatever stories I share then will carry more value. There’s really no point wasting so much energy on this. I have to think about my shooting work, my family, taking care of myself and my cat. I protect my mental health very carefully. Anything that could affect it, I simply don’t pay attention to.”
