The human resources department of Chandpur district Jamaat-e-Islami has held a day-long training workshop for its union parishad (UP) chairman candidates in the local government elections, along with the presidents of its election departments and the presidents and secretaries of its municipal election departments.
The workshop, held on Saturday (24 October), was opened by Maulana Billal Hossain Miazi, amir of Chandpur district Jamaat and a member of the party’s central Majlis-e-Shura.
District Jamaat secretary Advocate Md Shahjahan Mia and district assistant secretary Md Jahangir Alam Prodhan spoke as special guests.
The training was given by central core trainers Sadek Hossain Bhuiyan, Md Harun Ar Rashid Osmani, Abdul Malek, Ruhul Amin Khan and Kamruzzaman Sohel.
