Four more people have died with measles symptoms in the country in the past 24 hours, taking the toll from measles and suspected cases so far this year to 894.
In its regular press release on Friday, the Directorate General of Health Services said 972 suspected measles cases and 187 confirmed cases were recorded in the 24 hours from 8am on Thursday. The total number of suspected measles patients admitted to hospital from Mar 15 to date stands at 122,794.
According to the directorate, 118,540 of those suspected patients have recovered and been discharged.
Ninety-nine people have died of confirmed measles across the country so far. A further 795 have died with measles symptoms.
The Directorate General of Health Services has been publishing measles data since Mar 15.
