On Lionel Messi’s 39th birthday, a letter written by 8-year-old Argentine fan Manu Litvi moved the entire country. The emotional letter, read aloud on the popular streaming show “Serie Increible,” went viral on social media for its expression of pure admiration and love for the footballer.

Celebrity hosts Paula Chaves and Pedro Alfonso then surprised the boy with a gift he could never have imagined: tickets and an invitation for Manu and his entire family to watch Argentina play at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States.

When the news was announced in the streaming studio, Manu could not hold back his tears. He wiped his eyes and embraced his parents as the entire studio erupted in applause.

In his letter, Manu had written: “It’s not just the way you play — it’s the kind of person you are that I love the most.”

The most emotional passage was about Argentina’s 2022 World Cup triumph in Qatar. Manu wrote: “When you won the World Cup, you cried just like we did. Your tears taught me that even the greatest people are emotional, and that hard work always pays off in the end.”
