Oh Sung, secretary general of “The International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP),” has paid a courtesy call on the Leader of the Opposition in the Bangladesh national parliament and ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr Shafiqur Rahman. The meeting was held at the opposition leader’s office in the parliament building at 12pm on Monday. ICAPP secretariat officer Park Byungchan and the opposition leader’s foreign-affairs adviser, barrister Mir Ahmad Bin Quasem Arman MP, were present.
Oh Sung presented ICAPP’s activities to Jamaat in detail. ICAPP’s next standing committee meeting will be held in Mongolia, and the opposition leader was invited to attend. He also discussed including Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami as a member of ICAPP’s standing committee.
