Army chief stresses ethics and integrity

Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman inaugurated three new buildings at the western campus of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). He inaugurated the new buildings Sunday at Mirpur Cantonment.

Speaking as chief guest, the army chief said a university’s true success is not confined to academic excellence alone, but lies in building human resources with ethics, values, integrity and a sense of responsibility. He praised the university’s role in creating a modern educational environment, expanding research opportunities, and shaping a patriotic generation. He wished BUP continued success and prosperity.

The event was attended by members of the BUP Senate, senior officials of the army, navy and air force, former BUP vice chancellors, senior university officials, distinguished teachers and students.

The three new buildings at BUP’s western campus are expected to play an important role in strengthening the university’s academic and administrative activities, and in expanding opportunities for modern education, research and creative practice for students and teachers.
