Dakhil 9th grade registration begins September 6

Registration for students entering Dakhil 9th grade (Dakhil Examination-2028) for the 2026-2027 academic year will begin September 6. Information entry can be completed until September 27.

The information comes from an emergency notice issued by the Madrasah Education Board on Sunday, August 30.

The notice further states that online registration fees can be submitted from September 6 to 15. Registration fees with late fee can be submitted from September 16 to 29. Information (eSIF) entry will continue until September 27. Completed e-SIF final submissions can be made until September 28.

The board has accordingly notified all principals, superintendents and others concerned at recognized and teaching-authorized Dakhil/Alim madrasahs and Arabic university-affiliated Fazil/Kamil-level madrasahs under the board.

It requests that the registration process for students admitted to and studying in Dakhil 9th grade be completed online through the e-SIF system, following the prescribed guidelines, within the given time.

The directive states that students who passed the 8th grade annual examination and hold registration will certainly be eligible for admission to 9th grade. A list must be prepared based on 6th-grade registration information, and when entering data online according to that prepared list, the 6th-grade pass year, registration number and education board must be correctly selected. Otherwise, the madrasah head will bear responsibility for any incorrectly entered student information. Students who did not get the opportunity to register in 6th or 8th grade will be able to register directly in 9th grade through their institution head, by applying to the board with a photocopy of their birth registration card, a list, photos, and a 241-taka bank draft. A student cannot be admitted to or registered for Dakhil 9th grade if they have not turned 12 by January 1, or if they are older than 20. However, for students with special needs, the age limit for Dakhil exam registration is 12 to 23 years. Necessary procedures must be completed using the institution’s EIIN-based mobile SIM supplied by the board. When entering a student’s information online, either their personal mobile number (if available) or a guardian’s mobile number must be entered. Only one student can be registered per mobile number.
