Results of SSC and equivalent exam answer-sheet rechecks will be published Thursday (Sept. 10) morning.
Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, chairman of the Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, confirmed the information Sunday (Sept. 6).
Board sources said applications for rechecking SSC and equivalent exam results opened on Aug. 11 and closed on the night of Aug. 17.
Within the deadline, 402,051 examinees across the country’s 11 education boards applied for answer-sheet rechecks.
Many applicants challenged answer sheets in more than one subject, bringing the total number of applications to 1,287,926 — of which 1,056,455 were for written exams and 231,471 for practical exams.
By board, the Dhaka Education Board received the most applications: 94,236 examinees submitted 277,665 applications for written exams and 58,012 for practical exams.
In addition, more than 35,000 examinees applied in the Cumilla board, more than 39,000 in Rajshahi, more than 28,000 in Jashore, more than 39,000 in Chattogram, more than 17,000 in Barishal, more than 20,000 in Sylhet, more than 37,000 in Dinajpur, and 27,676 in the Mymensingh board.
Meanwhile, more than 40,000 examinees applied for rechecks in the Madrasah Education Board and more than 20,000 in the Technical Education Board.
