The results of the HSC and equivalent examinations may come in the middle of November. Preparations to produce the results are under way.
Professor Syed Aktaruzzaman, chairman of the inter-education board coordination committee and of the Dhaka Education Board, gave the information on Tuesday.
He said: “We are thinking of giving the HSC examination results in the middle of November. We are moving forward with that aim. The work on it is going on. It has not yet reached a position worth mentioning separately.”
The HSC and equivalent examinations began on July 2 this year and ran until August 8. Although the practical examinations ended on August 15, the Chattogram board’s examinations finished on the 9th of this month because of a natural disaster.
A total of 1,270,583 candidates from 9,439 educational institutions sat the examinations this year, under 11 education boards in the general, madrasa and technical streams.
