After the Pakistan cricket team traveled to England this time, British media wrote that this was the worst Pakistan team in 50 years. Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif believes it isn’t just the team that should bear the blame — the cricket board should too.
Latif told Geo News: “Everyone is talking about the Pakistan cricket team. It’s the worst cricket team in 50 years. That’s absolutely right. But no one is talking about the current cricket board. The worst cricket board in 70 years.”
The former Pakistan captain further said: “No one is saying that it was this very board’s selection committee and coaches who picked this terrible team. So who really bears the responsibility? Everyone knows who is destroying Pakistan cricket. But no one will speak up. This team simply doesn’t have the ability to win. They’ll keep losing Test after Test.”
