The Ministry of Religious Affairs has published the roadmap for Hajj 2027 (Hijri 1448). Under the roadmap, pilgrim registration must be completed by 26 September this year. The ministry’s Hajj-1 branch issued the roadmap on Sunday (7 June). On 29 May, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the Hajj 2027 schedule at a ceremony in Jeddah and handed it to religious affairs ministers of various countries; Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain (Kaikobad) attended as an invited guest, and Saudi assistant minister Dr Al Hasan bin Yahya Al Manakhrah formally handed him the roadmap.

Under the roadmap, pilgrim registration must finish by 26 September this year; the bilateral Hajj agreement will be signed on 8 November; Hajj visa issuance begins on 28 January 2027; and Hajj flights start on 8 April. Subject to moon sighting, Hajj 2027 will be held on 15 May (9 Zilhajj).

The transfer of Saudi-side costs directly to the e-wallet of the Nusuk Masar platform will run from 15 July to 24 December this year. Contract signing for the comprehensive service package through Nusuk Masar — tents, service packages, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, catering and transport — begins on 29 July 2026 and ends on 23 January 2027. Pilgrim data must be uploaded to the Nusuk Masar system between 14 August and 28 January, and agreements with airlines carrying pilgrims, with documentation completed in Nusuk Masar, must be done between 29 July and 8 November this year. The ministry has requested that Hajj activities be completed according to the announced roadmap.
