Subject codes for the SSC and Dakhil examinations have been changed. New subject codes have been set by aligning general-education SSC subject codes with madrasah-education Dakhil-level subject codes. The new codes will take effect for regular examinees starting with the 2027 Dakhil examination.
The information was disclosed in a notice from the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board on Monday, August 31. It states that to enable preparation of common question papers for the SSC and Dakhil examinations, the Dakhil-level subject codes under the madrasah education stream have been updated to align with the general-education SSC subject codes. A list showing the old and new codes for Dakhil-level subjects has been published.
The revised new subject codes will take effect for regular examinees starting with the 2027 Dakhil examination. From the 2027 Dakhil examination onward, the new subject codes listed must be used for regular examinees’ registration, form-fill-up, all examinee-related processes, admit cards, question papers, answer scripts, mark sheets, certificates and all other examination-related activities.
The previous subject codes will remain in effect for irregular examinees. Given this, everyone concerned is requested to take note and take the necessary steps.
