Iran is fully prepared to respond to U.S. ceasefire violations even as peace talks continue, Sayyed Majid Mousavi, commander of the Revolutionary Guards aerospace force, said.
In a post on the social media platform X, Mousavi criticized the ongoing diplomatic effort, saying “negotiation with the enemy means nothing but loss.”
Iran’s aerospace force, which oversees the country’s strategic ballistic missile and drone programs, is on “very high alert,” Mousavi said. He said the force was fully ready to deliver a “final and swift response” and was awaiting only the supreme commander’s final order.
Iran’s foreign ministry earlier alleged in a statement that the United States had violated the ceasefire by carrying out “aggressive activity” in the Hormozgan region near Bandar Abbas.
