A van puller named Yaraddi Bepari, 45, has been killed in a collision between an easy-bike and a van in Harirampur, Manikganj.
The accident happened on Thursday afternoon at Kachuar Mor on the Balara-Dhulsura regional road in Balara union of the upazila.
Yaraddi Bepari was the son of Danez Bepari of Pipulia village in Balara union.
Local people said a speeding easy-bike collided with the van at Kachuar Mor as it travelled along the Balara-Dhulsura regional road in the afternoon. Yaraddi Bepari was seriously injured. He was taken to hospital, where the duty doctor declared him dead.
Harirampur police station officer-in-charge JOM Toufiq Azam said the dead man’s family had applied to take the body without a post-mortem examination.
