Three people were killed and three others wounded in a Ukrainian drone strike on the city of Tula, about 200 km south of the Russian capital, Moscow, local authorities said on Monday (June 15).
Regional governor Dmitry Milyaev said in a message on Telegram that a drone strike was carried out overnight on a residential area of Tula. According to preliminary information, three people were killed. A one-year-old child is among the wounded.
Earlier, last Friday, acting governor Igor Kobzev reported that two civilians had been killed and two others wounded in Ukrainian shelling in the Suzemka area of Russia’s Bryansk region.
On the same day, a separate drone strike in Russia’s central Tatarstan region damaged a residential building and wounded at least three people.
A fuel crisis has emerged on the Russian-controlled Crimean peninsula because of the sustained Ukrainian strikes, according to various sources. Fuel supplies have been restricted at some local petrol stations, and shortages of some essential goods have also been reported. Moscow, however, has not officially acknowledged any crisis.
