Saudi Arabia has issued new guidance for holders of the multiple-entry Umrah visa. Although the visa remains valid for one year, the country’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that before performing Umrah on each visit to Saudi Arabia, obtaining approval through a licensed service package and Umrah permission is mandatory.
A report by Gulf News on Sunday disclosed the new guidance.
The ministry said visa holders must purchase the required service package from an approved Umrah service provider through the Nusuk platform. Additionally, before traveling to Saudi Arabia, they must obtain Umrah permission through the Nusuk app.
The multiple-entry Umrah visa, launched in July, remains valid for 365 days from the date of issuance. During this period, visa holders can enter Saudi Arabia multiple times. However, across the entire visa validity period, holders may stay in Saudi Arabia for a maximum of 90 days in total.
