Patrol teams from Hijoli BOP, Benapole ICP and Amrakhali checkpoint, under the Jashore Battalion (49 BGB), conducted separate operations in border areas on Wednesday. The day-long operation recovered 50 bottles of Indian Escuf syrup (an intoxicant), 58 sarees, 57 chocolates, 36 kilograms of fuchka, 1 kilogram of cumin, 0.5 kilogram of raisins, 5 packets of sohn papdi, and 352 cosmetics items.
