This time, fake calls are being made from a number using the photo and identity of Professor Dr Khan Moinuddin Al Mahmud Sohel, director-general of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE). Everyone has been urged to stay alert and to refrain from any financial transactions.

The DSHE directorate informed the media of the matter on Thursday (16 July).

The notice further said that if anyone demanded money in the name of getting work done by posing as a DSHE official or under any other identity, the fraudster’s phone number must be reported to the nearest police station at once. The DSHE also directed all concerned at the field level to take legal action against such people and to remain maximally alert on the matter.
