Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal and model-designer Gabriella Demetriades have finally married after an eight-year relationship, two children and years of living together. The celebrity couple completed their wedding formalities in Goa on Friday, August 21, in the presence of a few close friends.
Indian news agency PTI reported that the couple completed the registry formalities in a very low-key manner, without any grand arrangements. Their legal marriage took place under Goa’s Uniform Civil Code.
Arjun began living together with Gabriella from 2018, after separating from his former wife, Mehr Jesia. Their first child, Arik, was born in 2019. Their second child, Ariv, followed four years later, in 2023.
Despite their long relationship, the couple was in no hurry to formalize their marriage. In a podcast, Arjun had said marriage was essentially just a matter of paperwork to him, and that they considered themselves married in spirit. Love, he said, cannot be measured by any piece of paper.
Arjun announced his engagement to Gabriella in 2025. A year later, that relationship has finally received legal recognition. Having now given their long-standing relationship a permanent form on paper as well, Arjun and Gabriella are being showered with wishes from fans and well-wishers.
