His father is a farmer and his mother a homemaker. Abusale Mohammad Nasim grew up in a family of limited means. Inspired by his grandfather Mojibor Rahman, supported by his parents’ sacrifices and driven by talent and hard work, Nasim is now on his way to becoming a judge. He ranked 46th in the final results of the 18th Bangladesh Judicial Service Examination-2025 and was recommended for appointment as a civil judge. His success has brought celebration to Nurpara village in Paschim Chhatnai Union of Dimla Upazila, Nilphamari.
Nasim’s father, Abdus Samad Dulu, is a farmer and his mother is a homemaker. Nasim is the eldest of four siblings and was interested in his studies from childhood. When he told his grandfather that he had placed first in a college test examination, Mojibor Rahman was delighted and encouraged him to become a judge. That encouragement strengthened Nasim’s ambition to join the judiciary.
Although the family had limited financial means, his parents remained committed to their children’s education. Their sacrifices and support, together with Nasim’s persistence, moved him toward success.
Nasim earned a GPA of 4.56 in the 2016 Secondary School Certificate examination from the science group at Chhatnai High School in Paschim Chhatnai Union, Dimla. He then received a GPA of 5 in the 2018 Higher Secondary Certificate examination from the science group at Janata Degree College in Khagakharibari Union. He later studied law at the University of Rajshahi, earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
After years of study and preparation, Nasim sat for the 18th Bangladesh Judicial Service examination. He ranked 46th in the final results published by the Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission and was recommended for the post of civil judge.
His father, Abdus Samad Dulu, said the family had long held great hopes for Nasim. Despite financial hardship, they never wanted his education to be disrupted. His recommendation to become a judge had brought the family immense joy, Dulu said, asking people to pray for his son.
Local resident Khoybor Ali said the village was proud that Nasim, the son of a farming family, had achieved success through talent and hard work. He said Nasim’s accomplishment would encourage other children in the area to focus on their studies.
Lenin, one of Nasim’s college teachers, said he had been talented and hardworking as a student, with a strong desire to do well. The teacher said the achievement was a source of joy and expressed hope that Nasim would carry out his judicial duties with honesty and dedication.
News of Nasim’s success prompted celebration across Nurpara village and Paschim Chhatnai Union. Relatives, neighbors, teachers and local residents congratulated him.
Family members said Nasim’s achievement had fulfilled a long-held dream. They asked people to pray that he would perform his duties with honesty, justice and dedication throughout his career.
